Steve Evennett-Watts has worked at River Café, Chez Bruce, l’Odeon and Villandry (see more).  He creates amazing lunches, dinners and buffet food for just about any business event – from regular staff meetings to opening night at the gallery. Steve is based in East Molesey (near Hampton Court) and covers a 50 mile radius including Central London.

Hiring Steve for your corporate event, meeting or product launch

Small meetings

For regular director meetings or one-off brain-storming sessions, we can serve your team wonderful food tailored to your budget. Call 07814 999798 or email to discuss your event.

Large meetings

For corporate events, launches, and openings, we can deliver a buffet, or serve a sit-down meal, with all food prepared to our usual high standard.

We recommend using serving staff for larger parties and we have highly skilled waiters, butlers, bar-tenders and mixologists we can bring to your event if required.

How much does it cost to hire a chef for an event?

Every event is unique, and the cost will depend on your menu choices, along with time spent shopping and prepping ahead of the event, and the hours spent on site on the big day.
If we think you need serving staff, we will let you know how much that additional cost will be.  If you have a specific budget in mind for your event, let us know from the outset. We will tell you if it is doable, and work with your plans.  After discussing menus and numbers with you, Steve will normally calculate one price for his labour with an estimate of the ingredients cost on top, however he can also plan a menu with a per-head price if you have a figure in mind.

We have a monthly marketing meeting. Do you provide regular catering?

Yes, we have regular clients and are able to cater for their requirements. Some want us to deliver ready-to-serve buffet food, and this can be hot or cold, but we have also provided boxed lunches so  team can eat outside or in a designated dining area.

How far do you travel?

Usually within a 50-mile radius of East Molesey, including London, Surrey, Berkshire, and parts of Kent, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Sussex.

We have some very specific dietary requirements in our team. Is that a problem?

No, Steve’s catering experience is vast and he will make sure that everyone’s needs are met. Just ensure this is covered in the briefing so he can suggest options for you.

Do you provide waiting staff?

We can provide staff for the event if required and all our staff are reliable, courteous and professional. They can serve drinks and food, and clear up after your event.

Do you need access to a kitchen?

If you have access to a kitchen and fridge, great! If not, then we will make sure that the menu fits the situation. We deliver food to marquee events too, and have also catered for a book launch on a Thames riverboat.
